Media
Instructional Media distributes and services
most of the campus's multi-media and audiovisual
equipment. The Coordinator is Leticia Russi who can
be reached at: 716-829-7715 or via e-mail at:
russil@dyc.edu.
During the school year the office opens at 8:30 am
and is usually open until 8:30 pm, Monday through
Friday, and until 1:00 pm on Saturdays.
Instructional Media's main office is located in
BFAC 009.
Instructional Media serves the students and
faculty by providing audiovisual equipment, such as
televisions with VCRs, camcorders, LCD projectors
and laptops for classroom presentations and
projects. In addition, students can have overhead
transparencies made. Equipment is reserved by
completing a request form. Forms may also be picked
up in AC 9. Students will need their ID cards to
obtain equipment. IM supervises media rooms BFAC
104, 202,302,303, and 304 and ALT 141, 150, 158,
605, and 607. IM will soon supervise the following
planned media rooms: BFAC 106, 205, 304, and 305;
ALT 307, 308, 604, 606, and 641.
Please NOTE: Please visit the IM office (BFAC
009) to reserve a laptop or LCD. IM cannot accept
requests for laptops and/or LCD's over the phone or
e-mail.
Instructional Media also supervises the video
production center in AC303-304 and the electronic
podium housed in BFAC104. In addition, IM produces
ISDN-based teleconferencing.
