Academic Computing The Department of Academic Computing serves D’Youville technology needs with an emphasis on innovation and customer service.  Our department encompasses the divisions of Labs & Media and Distance Learning, and is responsible for the technology in-service needs of students, faculty and staff.  We work with faculty and staff to determine effective and innovative technology based solutions to meet the academic needs of the college.  Our services contribute to students’ academic achievement and foster their independence as learners. Distance Learning Distance Learning offers academically sound courses on the interent to bring our academic resources to where our students live. In addition, our distance learning services provide a means for online assistance in our conventionally delivered courses and other campus services.    Located In BFAC   D’Youville College Academic Computing Located in Bauer Family Academic Center Room 009 Labs & Media Labs & Media encourages the appropriate integration of instructional technology in the classroom. Our classroom and computer lab technology is an important part of our rich learning environment. Different classrooms on campus take advantage of different technologies.
